under the rain

i look at the window
its raining
i listen to a hip hop song
it feels so cool and the mood i just right
i wonder how it gets this lonely
the rain on the rooftop
and the sun shining clear through the sky
bird flying by
things come and go like nothing
its warm even though its raining
and the rain gets heavier
still no signs of cooling down..
the earth is moving
and so i am
and the rain wash away all the sound in the distance
